Our hood

Image from Fringe WorldSummer usually makes us giddy with excitement but 2012 is off the chart.

Best place to find all the info about what’s happening in our hood – William Street and the Perth Cultural Centre, is via the  William Street Collective and the Perth Cultural Centre website.

The Perth Festival will take up its new home in the Cultural Centre. The Festival Gardens kicks off with Little Roy’s tribute to Nirvana on Friday 10 February. Other highlights include Death Cab for Cutie and Bonnie Prince Billy.

Also check out the State Theatre Centre’s program. Theatre in February is looking amazing. Dessert and a sticky afterwards perhaps?

St Jeromes Laneway Festival is on Saturday 11th February, there might still be tickets.

To top it off the Urban Orchard will host the uber sexy Spiegeltent for Fringe World.

It’d be a bloody good idea to come in for some plates and drinks with us before and or after the multitude of festivities.
