Bivouac Artist Call-Out

Bivouac is seeking submissions from local artists to reimagine the front windows of the venue. The total budget for this project is $1000 (including artist fee, materials and installation) received through a business grant from the City of Perth.

THE BRIEF

Given the nature of the restaurant, we are seeking submissions for a window installation. As the seating booths in the window recess back on to the interior window, artwork cannot be hung.

We are looking for artwork that represents or your interpretation of:

  • the venue and the culinary experience we offer

  • the community surrounding the venue

  • the vibrancy of Northbridge

  • the history of William Street

  • your personal connection with the venue

In essence, the brief is very loose and we look forward to receiving your wild and wonderful ideas.

The artwork should be across both windows - left and right however not totally obscure the view into the restaurant from William Street.

To submit your works to be considered, please send your proposal to Bivouac at info@bivouac.com.au.
